Introductory Overview
Each year the Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance grants as many as two scholarships of $500 each to graduating high school seniors from Inyo County and/or Mono County. Recipients will be students whose intended course of study, ongoing or planned volunteer activities, and career aspirations support the Alliance’s mission. Relevant areas of study can include — but are not limited to — the arts, natural and social sciences, education, journalism, law, public policy, environmental justice, outdoor recreation, or other related disciplines. While a record of volunteer service is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
