The Maine DeMolay and Pine Tree Youth Foundation provides support to young people across Maine by offering annual scholarships to Maine high-school graduates who plan to pursue further formal education. Local CattleWomen’s groups have donated beef to senior centers, prepared meals at trade shows and other gatherings, invited students to visit ranches (often finishing the visit with a cheeseburger), and offered beef samples using recipes developed with beef checkoff funds.
