Lawrence Technological University and the Chaldean Foundation have formed a partnership to provide scholarships and career-building opportunities for students.
Undergraduate Scholarship — Key Details
- Award amount: $18,000 per academic year. Application deadline: April 1.
- This is a stand-alone award and may not be combined with any LTU merit, athletic, or other institutional scholarships.
- To receive the full $18,000, students must be enrolled in at least 15 credit hours in the fall and 15 credit hours in the spring.
- Students taking 12–14 credit hours will receive a prorated portion of the scholarship.
- Any remaining scholarship funds may be applied to summer classes. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to qualify for a prorated portion.
- Continuous enrollment is required; any interruption (stop-out) will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
- Summers not included.
- Recipients must remain in good financial standing (no past-due balances) and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- The scholarship is valid for up to 8 semesters (four years).
Eligibility
- Must be a new, incoming student; applicants typically have around a 3.0 GPA.
- Must maintain continuous enrollment (no stop-outs).
- The award is standalone and cannot be combined with merit, athletic, or any other LTU scholarship.
Disbursement Requirements and Deadlines
- A completed disbursement form for the Chaldean Foundation Scholarship must be submitted at least 30 days before the start of the semester.
- Form submission 30 days prior to the semester start is required for funds to be applied to the student account.
- Student account must be in good standing with no outstanding balances.
- Must be a new incoming student to be eligible.
- This remains a stand-alone scholarship and cannot be combined with other LTU awards.
