Trade School STEM Program Scholarships

Overview
This scholarship supports students attending trade or technical schools to acquire hands-on skills that meet the needs of the region’s expanding industries. Funding targets full-time programs with a STEM emphasis—science, technology, engineering, or mathematics—such as welding, machining, mechatronics, network administration, and automation.
Award Amounts
Awards typically fall between $2,000 and $5,000 annually.
Which Programs Qualify
Applicants must be entering or already accepted into a full-time trade/technical program that has a clear, practical application of STEM disciplines.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for an award, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be a current or incoming full-time student in an eligible program of study.
- Have no affiliation with the Perryman Company or the Perryman Family Foundation via board membership, current employment, or close family relationships.
- Reside in one of the qualifying counties within Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Western Maryland, or Chautauqua County, New York.
