P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by P. Buckley Moss Foundation
Introductory statement
Inspired by artist P. Buckley Moss—who experienced dyslexia as a child—this scholarship honors her commitment to supporting young people with learning differences who aspire to careers in the visual arts.
Program background
The P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship was created by the P. Buckley Moss Society in 2006 with an initial gift of $20,000 and was first awarded in 2007. The Society itself was formed in 1987 by collectors of Moss’s work to increase appreciation of her art and to sponsor charitable activities that reflect her values.
