Overview Jet Insurance Company supports the next generation of U.S. business leaders through a scholarship for high school seniors and current college students planning a career in business. Scholarship Details - Award: One $1,000 scholarship - Essay prompt: Tell a personal story about a significant life challenge or obstacle you overcame, the lessons it taught you that prepared you for college and beyond, and how those experiences give you a distinctive perspective as you pursue a business career. - Length: 250–500 words - Deadline: July 31, 2026 Eligibility - Open to United States citizens and legal residents. - Available to graduating high school seniors and current college students interested in business. - Previous applicants who were not selected may apply again in a subsequent semester. Previous winners are not eligible to win a second time. - There is one scholarship awarded per semester. All decisions by Jet are final. Application requirements All fields of the application must be completed to be considered. Required information: - First and last name - Email address - Current or planned college - Major or intended major - College website URL - Expected college graduation date Plus the essay meeting the 250–500 word requirement. Finalist requirements - Finalists must provide a photo and proof of enrollment to remain eligible. - The winner’s photo and essay will be published on the Jet blog and shared on Jet’s social media channels. Submission rules - Only one entry per applicant per contest. - Essays must be the author’s original work and must not infringe on third-party intellectual property. Any plagiarism will result in automatic disqualification. - Any essay created in whole or in part using AI (including ChatGPT) will be automatically disqualified. Submissions will be reviewed and screened for AI use. - Late entries will not be accepted. Submit before the stated deadline. Selection and voting - Jet will select finalists. Finalists will receive a link to a public voting page and may share that link to solicit votes. - The finalist who receives the most public votes will be awarded the scholarship. Other terms - Jet is not responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with the scholarship. - By submitting an entry, the applicant acknowledges and accepts these terms.
