Law Offices of Albert Goodwin, PLLC is happy to support student education with our annual Goodwin Scholarship. Undergraduate and law students attending a USA college, university, or law school are invited to apply.

The scholarship will be awarded based on certain criteria that include current enrollment in a college, university, or law school, an acceptable grade point average, demonstration of community service, and a written essay.

Scholarship Award:

One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually.

Who:

Any current undergraduate or law student is eligible for The American Law School Student Scholarship with a preference to individuals that are (a) from the New York metropolitan area, or (b) received an undergraduate or graduate degree from a college or university in the New York metropolitan area, or (c) are attending a law school in the New York metropolitan area.

How:

Scholarship applicants are required to do the following:

A) Fill out a biographical information form.

B) Write an essay on access to legal services in the United States. This essay should focus on the need and affordability of legal services and propose ideas to help meet the demand for these services. The essay should be at least 1,000 words long.
