Introduction

Who is eligible
- Students who will be incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors at an accredited two- or four-year college (must be enrolled full time), or students enrolled in an accredited trade school.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be an active member of USA WATER SKI & WAKE SPORTS (AWSA/ABC/AKA/NCWSA/NSSA/NWSRA/USA-AWSWS/USA-WB/USHA).
- Awards are limited to undergraduate recipients and may be granted for no more than three (3) academic years. Recipients are required to be enrolled for the full academic year during any year they receive the award.
Important dates
- Completed applications and all supporting materials must be received by USA-WWF no later than 11:59 PM ET on April 1 of the award year.
- All awardees will be notified prior to July 15 of the award year.
Application requirements (must be submitted)
1. Submit a fully completed online application.
2. Provide an essay or a video that responds to the essay prompt.
3. Include two (2) current letters of recommendation.
4. Supply official documentation of coursework, grades, and GPA (transcript or grade report). Documentation must demonstrate either progress in current coursework or verification that the applicant is a full-time student in good standing. If you are applying as an incoming college freshman, include your high school records plus proof of college enrollment.

- It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the application is complete, signed, and that official transcripts, references, and the essay/video link are received by USA-WWF by the deadline. Double-check every item before submitting.
