Keisha Bodden Scholarship — Overview
The Keisha Bodden Scholarship provides a $1,500 award to graduating high school seniors from the Central Florida area to support study at any accredited four‑year college or university in Florida. This fund is intended to expand opportunities for Central Florida students and help them pursue educational and community impact goals.
Important deadlines and award timing
- Complete application package must be received by May 15, 2026. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Successful applicants will be notified on June 15, 2026.
- The scholarship will be paid to recipients during the fall semester of their first year of college.
Eligibility and required materials
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria and submit the listed items as one complete package by the May 15, 2026 deadline:
1. Be enrolled as a senior at a high school located in the Central Florida region.
2. Submit a fully completed application form.
3. Provide answers to the application questions and any required essays.
4. Include an unofficial or official high school transcript showing a cumulative GPA of at least 83% or B- (equivalent to a 2.75 GPA).
5. Supply letter(s) of recommendation from a school counselor and/or a teacher.
6. Have been accepted to a Florida college or university and intend to enroll as a full‑time student.
7. Demonstrate financial need.
8. Show evidence of extracurricular activities or community volunteer service.
9. Be a United States citizen.
